Sustainability
At Ormiston Town Centre our journey is only beginning, and we are trying hard to reduce our impact on the environment with initiatives that reduce waste, increase recycling and improve our energy efficiency.
Initiatives we have implemented so far include:
- Energy Efficient Lighting
- Food Court Recycling – all food waste, paper and plastics are sorted for recycling
- Charging Stations – 20 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are positioned around the Centre
- We also encourage all retailers to demonstrate ‘best practice’, in terms of sustainability in the design, construction and operation of their tenancy
