True Vets Ormiston has been awarded Gold Status as a ‘Cat Friendly Clinic!’.
The newly opened Veterinary clinic is proud to now be one of only 2 Veterinary clinics in Auckland that has been officially recognised by the ISFM for their cat care practices.
The ISFM ‘Cat Friendly Clinic’ accreditation is an international award, it recognises that True Vets Ormiston has met the criteria to help minimise stress to your cat whenever you visit their Veterinary clinic.
And right from the outset True Vets Ormiston had their feline patients in mind, with design sketches of the practice taking into account cats and owners needs, well before building had begun
Veterinarian and director of True Vets Ormiston, Jennifer Dauth said: “from the very start we wanted to build a practice where owners could bring their cats without feeling anxious about the stress it will cause them.”
“We know that just to get a cat into a carrier for a vet visit could be a challenge. Usually by the time a cat arrives at the vet both pet and owner are already a bit frazzled!
“Our aim is to make the rest of the experience a pleasant one and who knows, maybe your cat will look forward to the next trip to True Vets!”
